1 – Thames Lido, Reading
Breakfast at the Lido in Reading caters to everyone.
From their own granola, or sourdough smoked salmon, to a Spanish huevos rotos (broken eggs).
With plenty of poolside seating, fresh squeezed juices, teas and coffees, this is the perfect place to start your day at a leisurely pace.
2 – La Grange, Ascot
The walls of the windows are transformed Barn in a space flooded with natural light and on particularly hot days, you can fully enjoy the Cowarth Park experience while having a brunch on the sunny outdoor terrace surrounded by the calm greenery of the estate.
Here you’ll find delicious comfort food and hearty brunches, including Country Egg Benedict, buttermilk pancakes, and chia and coconut pudding with blueberries and almonds.
3 – Salon Cobizo, Newbury
A copper wire runs through the Cobizo lounge, in honor of the very first winner of the Newbury races, Copper King.
In this very casual space, spanning two floors, enjoy a brunch menu that includes eggs, chorizo, guacamole and chive peppers, ham shank mince, and spinach and feta shakahuka.
4 – Wellington Farm Shop and Cafe, Crochet
Dip into the legendary All-Day Breakfast at Wellington Farm Shop and Cafe, and get your morning fix of caffeine with their gorgeous artisanal coffee, while taking in views of Wellington’s vast estate.
Only the best local ingredients are used in their dishes, which include poached eggs and mashed avo on sourdough, and a bowl of superfood muesli made with chia, sunflower and pumpkin seeds, mixed with chia seeds. flax, apricots and goji berries with maple syrup.
5 – The Boathouse at Boulters Lock, Maidenhead
Located on its own island, this is the place to eat, drink and have fun.
Served only on weekends, you can eat like king or queen as they always prioritize quality produce – their eggs and bacon are farmhouse and the sausages are from Jimmy Butler’s Farm.
Why not enjoy a champagne mimosa with a fried chili egg and a roll of halloumi brioche, with baby spinach and Bloody Mary ketchup?
6 – GoGos, Windsor
Serving fresh dishes with an African twist, take in the breathtaking views of Racecourse Marina and Windsor Racecourse from the restaurant and outdoor terraces.
We love the sound of GoGos biltong Bloody Mary alongside poached smoked haddock, soft poached egg, chakalaka rice, and spinach.
Or how about a prosecco mimosa with spicy chorizo scrambled eggs?
Of course, they also cook an impressive full English breakfast.
7 – Bill’s, Newbury
The mashed avo on toast is fabulous here – they combine two poached free-range eggs with spinach, cilantro and chili.
The pancake stacks are also quite special, with a choice of banana, strawberries and blueberries, or smoked bacon.
All served with Invoices pancake syrup.
8 – Café YOLK, Reading
With an award-winning brunch menu serving great coffee and fabulous food, the team here knows their sourdough from their brioche.
