Appraisal Foundation Welcomes New Board Members and Appoints New Board Chair

WASHINGTON, October 27, 2021 / PRNewswire / – The Board of Directors of the Appraisal Foundation recently appointed new members to the Appraisal Standards Board (ASB) and the Appraiser Qualifications Board (AQB). Melissa Bond of Four, Mississippi and Nicolas pilz of Winter Garden, Florida were appointed to the ASB, and Karen oberman of Des Moines, Iowa, Valerie scott of Captain, New Mexico and Donna Vandervries of Portage, Michigan were appointed to the AQB. Roberta Oullettee from Raleigh, North Carolina was reappointed at the CNA, while Guillaume Fall of Perrysburg, Ohio, John ryan of Newbury, Massachusetts, and Brad swinney of Austin, Texas were renamed to AQB. Michelle bradley and John ryan will be chairmen of ASB and AQB respectively, and Tim Luc and Brad swinney will be vice-presidents of each council.

The board also announced its new leadership for 2022. Randall Kopfer of Galveston, Texas was appointed chairman of the board of directors and Dayton nordin of Boston, Massachusetts was appointed vice-president. Tracy johnston of Phoenix, Arizona will remain secretary and Raymond Wagester of Village of Greenwood, Colorado was appointed treasurer. Jeremy Gray of Pleasant Grove, Utah will be the outgoing president.
BACKGROUND: The Appraisal Foundation is authorized by Congress to establish standards and qualifications for real estate appraisers. It is governed by a board of directors which oversees two additional councils, the Appraisal Standards Board and the Appraiser Qualifications Council, which are responsible for drafting standards and qualifications respectively.
