Horse Racing Tips: Ayr, 3.45
The main afternoon race takes place in Ayr where they host the Listed Land O’Burns Fillies’ Stakes on all five flying stadiums. Jessica Harrington’s Irish raider Dickiedooda is a credible threat based on his second latest outing behind improving sprinter Logo Hunter in Cork, but he could be difficult to reattach TO OCCUPY for Coach John Quinn and Jason Hart.
The Night Of Thunder girl has had a solid 2020 campaign, despite only winning one Hamilton (5f, good to sweet) in August. It went well on several occasions in the company of model races, including a near failure in a Group 1 at Curragh during Irish Champions Weekend and a fifth close-up at Longchamp Abbey afterwards , demonstrating its ability to handle different terrain conditions in these races.
It’s been a similar story in two starts this season. She ran well on her return to Sandown (5f, heavy) in the Temple Stakes, won by Liberty Beach, and came here after a very noble fifth place in the King’s Stand at Royal Ascot (5f, good to firm) la last week. A replication of this shape will make the four-year-old a tough guy with that downgrade in mind.

Horse riding advice: Newton Abbot, 7:15 a.m.
Chez Hans, trained by Paul Nicholls, is perhaps the favorite for this handicap hurdle for amateur jockeys. He was the winner at Taunton (2m 3f, good) in April before getting rid of his rider on the first flight soon after at Kempton. He’s since finished third of four at this course and distance, about 16 lengths behind the easy winner last month, and he could struggle to give 7 pounds to MYSTICAL COURT tonight.
Nick Mitchell’s charge came back from a break to win over 2m 5½f here in April, doing it with a lot of hand, and he easily called soon after at Taunton (2m 3f, good on firm). He got into a fight at Fontwell in early May and looked set to start winning again this month to stumble and take out Fergus Gillard three, just when he was seemingly close to marking his authority on the contest.
It has been a while since we saw him on this short distance but, in his current mood, he is very dreaded as he seeks compensation for this latest rout.

Horse Racing Tips: Newbury, 6.30am
The soft ground planned in Newbury for his evening meeting will be music to the ears of SOCIOLOGISTthe connections of. The six-year-old started 2021 in good form around Southwell, winning over 1m 3f in April, and added a decisive turf success at Thirsk (1m 4f, soft) soon after.
His next two runs at York and Catterick were less enjoyable but he got closer to Ripon again on this loose terrain trip at the end of May. This form has since been announced, with the winner and fourth both succeeding next time around.
The sociologist is starting from an unchanged mark of 70 here, but he should be helped by the return of Jonathan Fisher claiming 5 pounds. This trail should be fine and he can make another solid attempt.
Selection: Sociologist @ 15/2 with bet365
