Covid vaccines administered in Bracknell – latest figures

A QUARTER of people in Bracknell Forest have received two doses of a Covid-19 vaccine, figures show.
NHS data shows 25,512 people had received both strokes before May 9 – 26 percent of people aged 16 and over, according to the latest population estimates from the Office for National Statistics.
Of those who received both strokes, 22,657 were aged 40 and over – 38% of the age range.

This means that 2,855 people aged 16 to 39 received both doses.
Across England, a third of people aged 16 and over have received their second dose of the vaccine.
NHS vaccine data also shows variation in coverage for residents who had received at least one dose between different areas of Bracknell Forest.
In Bracknell Forest, 65 percent of people aged 16 and over have had a stroke.
Areas with the highest coverage:
1) Winkfield & Cranbourne, with 76.8% of people aged 16 and over having received their first dose
2) Sandhurst, 72.6 percent
3) Binfield & Popeswood, 70.5 percent
Areas with the lowest coverage:
1) Central Bracknell & Wildridings, 56.4 percent
2) Bullbrook, 57.8 percent
3) Crown timber, 60.3%

Across England, 15 million people had received a second dose of the vaccine by May 9 – 33% of the population aged 16 and over.
This includes 13.3 million people aged 40 and over, or 47% of the age group.
A total of 29.4 million people had received at least one dose of a vaccine by the same date, covering 65% of people over 16 years of age.
