Main road to Reading closed for a week for paving work
A main road between Reading, Surrey and Hampshire will be closed for an entire week.
Reading Road in Finchampstead will be closed from 8 p.m. on Monday, November 8 to 6 a.m. on Friday, November 12.
The closure will be in place between the junctions of Reading Road with Park Lane and Fleet Hill.
This is how the Wokingham Borough Council can undertake resurfacing work.
The closure means that drivers will be diverted by surrounding roads.

To travel north to Reading, drivers should continue heading east along Fleet Hill and then head north on the B3348 and B3016 to Finchampstead.
You can then take the Nine Mile Ride westbound to Park Lane.
Drivers can then use Park Lane and Langley Common Road to join the A327 Reading Road.
Those wanting to head south to Hampshire and Surrey will be diverted from Reading Road to Park Lane, which they can use to travel east on the Nine Mile Ride.
The B3016 and B3348 can be used southbound to Eversley Cross. Take the B3272 westbound, which will eventually bring you to the A327 Reading Road, where you can continue your journey south.
