Yeovil Town will welcome Maidenhead united at Huish Park on Tuesday night in the National League and the hosts enter the game in 14th place, having accumulated nine points this season.

Maidenhead is two points less than his opponents, despite two more games, which puts them in 18th place.

Yeovil has only made six league appearances this season and three wins have left them in a middle position.

The Glovers enter the game after back-to-back league losses and they will look to get back to winning ways on Tuesday.

Their last outing was on September 25 when they traveled to Meadow Park to face Boreham Wood, which ended in a 2-1 loss despite Dale gorman giving Yeovil the lead in this game.

Darren SarllHis team will aim to improve on a home record that has only seen the Glovers win once at Huish Park this season, as they have suffered two losses at home.

If Yeovil is to collect three points on Tuesday, then the Joe quigley will be important, with the 24-year-old looking to add to the five goals he has already scored in the National League this quarter.

Maidenhead has six of his seven points this season in his first two games with wins over Halifax Town and Dover Athletic.

Since then Maidenhead has enjoyed poor form which has seen them lose five of their last six games and in that span they have only managed to take one point.

This weekend, the Magpies thought they had recovered a point in the first minute of stoppage time after Sam barrat marked on the spot, but Brett McGavin scored a minute later to steal all three points from King’s Lynn Town with a 3-2 victory.

Maidenhead will look to improve his away record which has only seen him win one away game this season, despite having suffered two losses on the road.

The Magpies have played three competitive matches against Yeovil in their history and have never lost to the Glovers, which will give Alan devonshire and his confidence aside before Tuesday’s game.

Adi Yussuf was sent off for Yeovil in his last game against Boreham Wood, and the 29-year-old will miss Tuesday’s game due to suspension.

Yeovil signed Ben seymour and Jordan dyer on a month-long loan from Exeter City last week and Seymour could enter the starting lineup to replace suspended Yussuf.

However, Dyer may have to settle for a place on the bench against Maidenhead.

Maidenhead will probably be without Will De Havilland after the 26-year-old had to come out in the first half against King’s Lynn.

De Havilland’s absence could mean there is a place in the starting lineup for Manny Parry.

Possible starting line-up in Yeovil Town:
Black-smith; Moss, Staunton, Hunt, Barnett; Wakefield, Gorman, Worthington, Knowles; Quigley, Seymour

Possible starting lineup of Maidenhead United:
Lovett; Massey, Parry, Donnellan, Barratt; Ferdinand, Adams, Up, Beckwith; Acquah, Kelly

SM words green background

We say: Yeovil Town 2-0 Maidenhead United

Both teams will lack confidence after a series of poor results, but Yeovil will be the freshest team and we believe the hosts will have enough to beat a team that hasn’t won since August.
