‘Trust’ – Scathing comments could be a disappointment for Nottingham Forest loan flop

Tom Ince’s chances of proving his Nottingham Forest critics wrong this week have taken a hit after scathing comments from Luton Town manager Nathan Jones.
Ince, who is on loan from Stoke City all season, was taken out at halftime on Saturday as Jones turned to players he could ‘trust’ to prompt them for a stunning comeback.
The Hatters led 2-0 at the break with Ince, one of three replaced as they recovered to win 3-2 against Sheffield on Wednesday, preparing them well for Tuesday’s trip to City Ground.
Jones used a post-match interview to praise the performance after the break, while lashing out at those who criticize him for his unfortunate stint as Stoke’s manager.

“Fair play until Wednesday. They were quick on the blocks and we were incompetent, so we had to change something at half-time,” he said.
“We came back to a diamond for which I was much maligned during my time at the bet365 stadium.
“We were great in the second half. We went to see people that I knew we could trust, people for who did it and who won promotions for this club, who kept this club. in the championship.
“I just got back to that. What a wonderful second half.”
Ince has made four appearances for Luton, starting twice, and has yet to score a goal or assist. The 29-year-old went on a six-game loan with Forest in 2014.
