Universal Care aims to expand in Buckinghamshire and Berkshire

A nursing home company hopes to expand its business through Buckinghamshire and Berkshire.

Universal Care, which specializes in home care, will expand into the counties after securing a major investment from the independent operator, Nobilis, which is one of the leading home care providers in the South East.

Nobilis, which is based in Southampton, Hampshire, now intends to build on Universal Care’s existing office team and more than 100 caregivers in the field to further expand its operations in Beaconsfield, Amersham, Aylesbury and Marlow in Buckinghamshire, as well as Maidenhead and Windsor. in Berkshire.

A Nobilis caregiver

Peter Harrington, CEO of Nobilis, said: “Universal Care is a fantastic company with knowledge and experience in specialist and residential care.

“As we integrate their activities into the Nobilis group, we look forward to including these care packages in all of our activities based on their experience and care plans.

The team will benefit from the new Nobilis apprenticeship training partnership, which will include Levels 2, 3, 4 and 5 of the Adult Care Standards.

These qualifications are accredited by City & Guilds and are recognized by the Commission for the Quality of Care and the Health and Social Services Sector.

Nobilis will also integrate Universal Care operations into its IT and customer service infrastructure.

Universal Care President Peter Cullimore added: “I am very happy to hand over the reins of Universal Care to Nobilis.
