Who needs Santa’s sleigh? Gifts delivered to RBH in an Aston Martin
HOLIDAY gifts arrived in style at the Royal Berkshire Hospital just before Christmas, thanks to Aston Martin Reading.
The company used an Aston Martin DB11 Volante to deliver gifts to young oncology patients at Lion Ward, many of whom received treatment over Christmas.
The four-seater sports car pulled to a stop by the steps of the historic hospital entrance, and staff helped unload gifts from the trunk and back seats.
The company said it has worked closely with the RBH to provide gifts appropriate for age groups.
A spokesperson for Royal Berkshire Hospital said: “We are delighted that Aston Martin Reading and HR Owen have so generously brought some festive joy to our children’s ward with this huge pile of gifts. And what a way for them to be delivered.
